"Visitors' Days"
The Viking Ship Exhibit is closed for the season.
New tour dates will be posted in the Spring of 2012.

The first restoration of the "Viking" was in 1919.
The Federation of Norwegian Womens Societies raised the necessary funds.

The dedication of the Viking ship in Lincoln Park took place on November 6, 1920.
On this date, the Viking ship was transferred to the Commissioners of Lincoln Park (later to become part of the Chicago Park District)
