"Visitors' Days"
The Viking Ship Exhibit is closed for the season.
New tour dates will be posted in the Spring of 2012.

The Viking is a real, full size replica of a 9th century Viking ship, and she sailed across the Atlantic in 1893.

Visit the Viking, and you get an up-close look at this beautiful ship.

Walk around the outside... peer into the inside. You'll be amazed.

Plan to "tour" the Viking Ship in 2012

Visit the Viking ship. See the wonderful stabilization work that has been done. Walk up the ramp to the viewing platform and see inside. You'll have lots of fun.

Come on a scheduled Saturday. Docent led tours begin every 30 minutes. Or just take a "self-guided" tour around the ship.

Our volunteer docents will tell you all about this "one of a kind" ship.
You'll learn of Viking's construction, journey, and significance.
You may even meet a Viking.

Can't come on a Saturday? Get a group together and book a special tour. Call 630-232-4951 and ask for Margaret. ($5.00 per person. Minimum fee: $25.00. Two week lead time required.)
